I used Derek as my tutor for various subjects as well as SAT/ACT prep for 5 years. He tutored me in both high school and college-level courses ranging from regular to AP style difficulty. Derek is extremely great at connecting with the student at the levels in which they learn. He kept me engaged even when I didn’t want to be. He knows that taking the SAT and ACT can be daunting and still finds a way to keep the student’s spirits up and successfully tutor them.
